Hi everyone! I know I don’t normally post at this time of day, but I just had to post a short update tonight because I’m so excited about my site re-design! I think it turned out really awesome, and I’m so excited about it. I’ve been looking forward to doing this for quite a while. My old site design was not optimized for mobile viewing and I was starting to get a lot of comments from mobile viewers to tell me about it! I also got a new theme so I’m still working out some of the quirks like getting ads to display on the home page. Anyway, thanks so much to Heather at Moritz Fine Designs for her awesome work!
Color Me Frugal
The hubs and I are going out of town for a few days next week- thank goodness! At this point I cannot wait to have a few days off to sleep and get caught up on blogging (yes, I blog on vacation while the hubby is sleeping). I’ve been sick much of this week and it has not exactly been super fun. On the adoption front, the hubs and I heard tonight that our profile will be shown tomorrow to an expecting birth mother a few states away- so we are keeping fingers crossed that it might be our time. We are trying not to get our hopes up too much, but it’s hard when we’ve been waiting for a long time.
Anyway, happy almost February everyone!
I think your new design looks amazing! My favorite part is the car with the woman’s hair blowing in the wind. Fingers crossed for you and your hubs!! 🙂
