Hello everyone! Welcome to Saturday Morning Roundup! Here I wrap up happenings here at Color Me Frugal during the week and share with you some of my favorite posts that I enjoyed from other sites this week. I hope you’ll enjoy!
It’s been another busy week in the CMF household. We are having Mr. CMF’s parents over today for an early Christmas dinner since they will be out of town over Christmas. Luckily my employer gives out gift certificates for food from several different retailers as an employee holiday gift, so we will be heading over to HoneyBaked Ham to pick up some goodies today. That will save a lot of time and effort (not to mention money!) Also on the agenda for this weekend is working on the blog of course!
Below are the posts we published this week:
Monday 12/9/13- Start 2014 With Cash Giveaway
Tuesday 12/10/13- Foiled an Identity Theft…Barely!
Thursday 12/12/13- How Do You Know When You Have Enough Money?
Here are some articles we enjoyed from other sites this week:
Shannon at The Heavy Purse writes Create a Magical Christmas Through Family Traditions. This post is an awesome reminder that what’s most important at this time of year is NOT the gifts you buy or receive but the memories that you and your family make.
Catherine over at Young Adult Money writes The 4 Qualities of Successful Entrepreneurs. This article discusses some of the top qualities that successful entrepreneurs possess. Find out what they are!
Daisy at Suburban Finance writes Real or Fake? I love this article about the debate of real versus fake when it comes to Christmas trees!
Kim at Eyes on the Dollar writes 5 Cheap Christmas Gifts That People Actually Like. Kim has some really great ideas for budget-efficient Christmas gifts that won’t leave anyone groaning or running to return.
Jon at Club Thrifty writes 8 Investing Excuses We All Make. I really like this article about common fears that keep us from achieving our investing potential. Find out if you are making any of these mistakes.
